Wayne is the owner of VA and spends most of his time running the business having spent 16 years on the tools as a web developer. He was one of the studio founders and continues to drive the team with a hands-on and holistic approach. An experienced web developer, he also moonlights as “manxmachine” – an art project that focuses on working with machines to produce works of art with a more collaborative mindset.
Grant’s relationship with VA stretches back several years, but he joined the team on a more permanent basis as our in-house Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click advertising guru having recently completed his Google University Certification. Grant has worked in marketing roles at both World Surfaris and Visit Sunshine Coast and offers a broad skill set across digital promotions.
Originally hailing from the UK, our Creative Director Erin Short comes to VA with experience working on international brands across an array of industries, including travel, hospitality, fashion, corporate and government. She specialises in the building of brands, both strategically and visually, and meaningful, multi-channel campaigns that meet client objectives in a creative and engaging way. At VA, Erin works across branding, web design, digital content, print media and packaging design.
Nik joined the VA team on the back of a long history in website development and Google-certified, best-practice coding. Having worked in several agencies and even running his own studio along the way, Nik is a specialist not only in website construction but also performance management and detailed data analysis.
Todd scribbled his way over to VA after working with us as a freelance illustration offsider. With over 10 years experience at local Sunny Coast creative agencies and a slew of freelance work for national and international brands, Todd brings a diverse but specialised skillset to the VA team: with a background in branding, fine arts, animation and digital content creation.
Fiona joins VA with experience in front-end web development and design, digital marketing workflows, content design and client support. She has worked in both corporate teams and small businesses, as well as freelance work. Her passion for creative solutions, efficiency and nurturing strong client relationships drives her focus to provide exceptional support across the VA team and deliver results that exceed clients expectations.
Calvin joins us with a tonne of marketing and content expertise and is a welcome addition to VA’s busy content team. Graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor degree in Advertising and E-media, Calvin has 10 years of experience in content creation with six of the years dedicated to marketing and advertising in the action sports industry.
Micah is in charge of capturing captivating content for our Clients. With a keen eye for detail and a creative flair, he spearheads all video production and photography projects, ensuring top-notch quality and stunning visuals. With a 3-year track record in the fields of videography and photography, Micah brings a wealth of expertise and creativity to every assignment.
