Prior to 2020 VA had a workflow based around what we called “Production Week”. This was an “every other week” arrangement where we declined almost all meetings in exchange for a focused week where we did the work rather than talk about it. Most clients loved the idea and as a team we enjoyed the boosted productivity that focus brings.

In a world where we are all more flexible in our work arrangements and have less face to face meetings it seems that we now are more reactive than ever and the battle to maintain focus, efficiency and creativity is certainly not any easier.

In an attempt to solve this problem we are excited to introduce “Dark Fridays” as the 2024 version of “Production Week” but with a twist. Not only will we avoid meetings on Fridays but we will also “go dark” as to external communications. Unless there is an emergency then our team will be essentially off grid.

We believe these efforts will ultimately enhance the efficiency, quality and creativity of the services we provide.
