Talking Heads of Noosa
In 2021 VA took on the management of all sponsors for the Noosa Festival of Surfing and the goals was to make sure that the people who make the festival happen were well looked after.
To that aim the Event and Marketing team worked hand in glove with the Heads of Noosa marketing team on a range of projects running in parallel to the more traditional expectations of sponsorship (like placement in program, site signage and collateral).
VA successfully pitched the concept of “Talking Heads of Noosa” – a play on the brand name to be sure but also a vehicle to create reams of valuable content across a range of digital channels.
A 2-day shoot at the Heads of Noosa Brew house with a range of Noosa Surfing Legends interviewed by event MC Thomas Alexander was a huge success. Content was edited into stand alone epodes for web and social media and longer term elements of these interviews will air on Fuel TV for the next 6 months.
